Why you should attend the Annual Meeting, Wednesday, May 8th

Why you should attend the Annual Meeting, Wednesday, May 8thAll

I read your thoughtful comments religiously and share your concerns with the current environment for media companies and with the management of Torstar.

I ask each one of you to attend the Torstar Annual Meeting and give your support to the gentleman who will be asking a number of questions during the Q&A period!

I know that many of you feel attending the Annual Meeting is a waste of time.  One thing is for this gentleman to ask these questions in a room full of the Voting Trust members, senior management and others associated with Torstar.   The other is to have a large group of B shareholders to acknowledge the effort that is being made for the benefit of all shareholders and the company overall.

Thanks in advance for your support in attending the Annual Meeting.
