RE:RE:Sat info and XCT

RE:RE:Sat info and XCTAgree with the aggregate. However, the question is what is the consumer market for these services. XCT strategic partners like Larus and Myriota provide clues.

Myriota is working on the Sat Internet of Things (SIoT) which is a disruptive market of millions of users. As well the IMO recently approved the introduction of a GMDSS service by Iridium on its network, subject to Iridium passing a number of stringent performance tests. The Iridium GMDSS solution is consequently expected to be made available in the early 2020s. This expansion to smaller vessels means more customers, whether government or industry. Expect the maritime market to double.
As to the need for refresh locations, think fuel savings in a storm or search and rescue. Accuraccy is important.
Having been at sea, I can confirm that visibility can be minimal, a minute by minute location info can be critical.
As well, sat info provides evidence for fishing violations of restricted zones. A pirate fishing boat can penetrate a zone, fish and be out in an hour. If the boat goes dark (turns off its beacon), satellite imagery can again alert authorities to intercept.

There are all kinds of uses, It is up to XCT to market them over the next few years.
