I don't believe that TSO3 decided on its own to test Fujifilm's scope since "the Fujifilm duodenoscope dimensions fall within TSO3's U.S. Food and Drug Administration-cleared label claim for sterilization of long, flexible gastrointestinal endoscopes".  TSO3 has nothing to gain by testing something already cleared by the FDA.

If you don't believe it was Fujifilm that asked for the testing, then we're down to a 3rd party.  Who could get TSO3 to invest time, money and effort in doing this testing?  How about a large user of Fujifilm scopes, or someone that represents many users of Fujifilm scopes?

All imo.
