RE:RE:Back to April 2018Unless you are in contact with a broker, it's hard to pinpoint one reason for the sell off. I will give you a number of reasons but you take them with a grain of salt. 1) some traders and hedge funds follow the rule " buy on rumour and sell on News". With the News Release a lot of these guys sold the news.and still selling. 2) With the market recovering, funds move out of defensive sectors like utilities and health care and either into energy, technology, materials etc. 3)possible collusion of the company wth a Short Trader to keep shorting the stock untl the company fllls its mandate to buy back the stock cheaply, up to 10 % of it as per TSX permission.4) due to lack of interest by the big funds, short sellers find it easy to jerk this stock around with impunity hoping they shake the weak hand and sell their stock along with them.5) due to the drop below $4 some funds have a policy not to own stocks below that price and so they get rid of the stock. And that has a snowbowling effect and the selling goes on.6) some funds find this stock too risky due to uncertainty of health care policies in the US so they sell and go elsewhere GL
