RE:Short position at march 15 just posted

RE:Short position at march 15 just postedTo me this increased Short figure is completely a mystery..  But I am happy about it.  I understand that because relatively few shares trade  the price can be moved very easily and then a few larger players could move in and out between  for example $17.90 and $17.70   but the fac tthat the net figure increases interests me.  Could it be a hedge where a large player goes long ENB for example and short ALA  trying to make more on th eone side than the other but protecting against a major sell-off??   Or is there  a large player who does not believe they will be able to sell assets at a decent price or continue their growth etc.   Perhaps a hedge is most likely   - but in my analysis  ALA has a long way to go upwards and this just creates a bit more of a slingshot when really good news does appear.   Thoughts??
