RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Couple of questions
RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Couple of questions Uptown59, they've expressed plans to start seedlings at Brantford indoor facility, then plant out in June. The contingency plan, should the HC licence come through late, seems to be to plant a faster growing cultivar (e.g., autoflowers) as late as summer (my intepretation of a comment during the co-CEO AMA a while back). I also assume that this is why they've said they wont announce cultivars until they receive a HC licence. In the case where it's received in spring, based on my own experience I suspect they'll need at least ~4 weeks indoors before the stems harden up enough to transplant (there's a stage a ~2 weeks where I've had them get top-heavy and flop over under their own weight, requring stakes to keep upright - I cant imagine they'd transplant then...imagine if there was pelting rain afterwards). So, working backwards from their expresses transplant time of June, the latest ideal time to be sowing seeds i doors would seem to be mid-to-late April (i.e., ~1 month from now). Because there's such a backlog of HC licences pending (something like 400 applications in the process), I'd tend to think that - even if HC gives outdoor priority - they'll probably wait until last possible momment to issue a licence to avoid upsetting so many other applicants. That's pure speculation, of course...but I imagine things get a little political at that level
