RE:Let’s look at NLC and usIMO ICM is in a holding pattern pending profitability news. Reminds me of the oil sands. Lots of resource, but not sure if the costs will exceed the profits coming out. The oil sands took 20 years to turn around into profitability (50 years ago, so things moved a lot slower then). They were subsidized by the Canadian government during the low times to get the project off the ground. We could also be subsidized... especially if the Democrats win next election. Nearly every project increases efficiency as time goes on, so we should see a nice profit curve grow year after year. That is why I am long on this project but a big company will likely buy them out first - when they feel they can pay a good price for a proven / low risk resource. As for our current situation, things seem hung up on something. Is it the potassium extraction? The contract terms between SX and ICM? I believe this project will be profitable from the start and will get better and better with time and therefore is a great buy-out target. But first we need to prove profits first, and then the bidding war begins... exciting couple of years coming up!
