Keep in mind that volume is a big proponent of a healthy stock and for that to be steady, both shorties and day traders need to be playing her.  Then news days become a real show ;). 



Good Lord!  I did not say they were not in play.  I'm suggesting they are selling, not covering.  Their selling still shows up as short realted trading in the short reports.

Okay, here's the thing.  I'm not here to give you folks a lesson on trading principles.  You need to do a little study of your own.  However, maybe one of you geniuses could give me a scenario that works for a short trader to make money when the SP is at a many month peak?
