Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:TRST
Great post skyplt. Canada almost seems to be purposely making this industry crash and burn into the ground. How is it that a country makes it federally legal and a year later we're only going to have about 25 stores in Ontario with a population of 14 million while Colorado, where it is actually federally illegal, they were able to get over 500 stores for a population of 6 million about 2 years ago. Doug Ford was credited with the victory of switching from LCBO control to privatization yet it turned out to be an even bigger failure than the 40 locations originally planned for October. We're stagnant at around 50 million per month Canada wide and that's nowhere close enough to satisfy the run rates of the big companies combined.
