I suspect one or two deep value oriented funds were buying E shares on Friday and will continue to do so over the next couple of few weeks. It is now easier to purchase 1,000 E prefs than the equivalent 12,600 common as DC.A has poor liquidity. I expect the B/D prefs to rally over the next month. At $15, the yield would be approx 9.5%. Risk of dividend suspension is now lower and Dundee's financial health will improve considerably if they are able to close some asset sales in Q2, as suggested on the earnings call.
