You are asking the ultimate question: Will the general public forgive and forget Boeings criminal design and bogus FAA approvals? Will those 5000 + orders still be filled? Is the trickle of cancellations over? Or will a flood occur? Then of course there is the financial aspect of payouts to airlines and families for the crashes... AND refunding deposits on cancelled orders... and compensation for the grounding. Boeing may have the USA FAA in their pocket but as more people understand the flaw of the Max, Boeing execs wont be able to fix that.
