RE:@topdopJust assume this is dead money for the next 12 months, it’s quite cathartic to look at it this way.  With these illiquid and highly risky stocks unless there is a catalyst or some news they without fail almost always slowly trend down.  It’s very easy to ignore a company that isn't profitable.  It’s much harder to ignore one that has substantial positive EPS.  

Remember the plan for this company was that it would be self-sufficient this year and wouldn't require any additional capital from Glencore.  The cobalt issue put a dent in that plan.

KAT has to produce Cobalt, it’s a byproduct.  Whether the DRC and Glencore find reasons to halt export of the material is another matter entirely and given the current state of the market I’m not surprised both parties are happy to drag their feet on this issue.
