Spoke with George Macpherson todayHe is Director of mineral management and of energy and mines in Nova Scotia. He told me that the permit that RCG applied for is ready and all that needs to be done is RCG needs to pay between 50 and 75k for it to start mining again at Dufferin. He said he is waiting on them!! Now, I am just wondering why Jack and co. don;'t ask Sprott Lending for the cash ( 2.2 million) to pay for the debt and to start up the Dufferin mine again and get all the gold out of the tailings and stopes ( estimates say between 3 and 5 thousand ounces are there with almost no cash needed to mine it) Is it because Jack and PWC don't want the cash from the financing to go towards that as a lot of that money is allotted for them to get paid? Is it because Sprott Lending does not want RCg to mine anymore and just wants all the properties sold?
Secondly, he mentioned that Tangier had some bulk sampling completed. Does anyone have information on the bulk samplign numbers?
He told me that there seemed to be some screwups at the property and with more money and other personnel he believes there is lots of gold there.
Told me that Rick Horne has extensive experience at Dufferin as a Geologist and that he believes there is lots of gold there. He also passed his number to me me, so I will contact him shortly.
