ETFs have very different rules and regulations. Half the holdings and deals that Quinsam has would not be allowed under ETF regulations.

ETFs must follow a set prospectus, which lays out the sector/industry/niche that the ETF focuses on. It also describes the weighting of the hodlings. To make a change to this, it takes regulatory filings and multiple announcements to shareholders.

Basically, ETFs are a retail "packaged" investment product. They are not actively managed like Quinsam is. They cant hold futures contracts like Quinsam does. They cant finance deals like Quinsam does. Completely different in every way imaginable (other than focusing on cannabis and the stock market).

Quinsam is a lot closer to a Berkshire Hathaway or Goldman Sacks of the Cannabis world. A bit of a cross of the two business models.
