Those who shorted won't take a hit as they already have the shares through the financing to cover.

No such thing as a short squeeze anymore,,ity have gone the way of the dinosaur.

The IIroc short volume tells you how much naked shorting is going in the canadian markets in this day of quick turnarounds and algo's and a 2 day settlement is allowed even for naked shorting.
