RE:RE:RE:The gambleI would suggest that it's a couple of things (among many): 1) Lumber prices falling from close to $500/unit early last summer to the current $360/unit; and 2) the two recent acquisitions and their impact on the balance sheet. The new housing starts outlook in the U.S. also doesn't look that promising, which is impacting lumber prices.
It's interesting to note that the shares of Canfor and Interfor, two seemingly similar companies, have performed remarkably different since November 12, 2018. Canfor shares are down more than 25%, while shares of Interfor are up more than 15%.
