This appears, in my option, to be an immature and desperate attempt to discredit the former CEO, while constantly contradicting themselves.  

If every board member, including the CEO of a company wasn’t attempting to acquire a superior offer during a go-shop period, that would be  a disservice to shareholders,  and those directors would not be acting in the best interest of all shareholder, and would be in breach of their fiduciary duties. Not the contrary.

In my opinion, this press release is a desperate attempt to avoid scrutiny from regulators, by either discrediting Keith Piggott, or discrediting both of the parties to make this look like nothing more than a messy divorce. 

In my opinion, this press release changes nothing - this in a merger with a valueless  shell company, being Titan, and a poorly managed company, with valuable assets, being Core gold.  

This childish news release can’t change the reality.
