I would expect chaotic trading today and possibly for the rest of April. Nevertheless, things should get back to normal after the results are out on 2 May. What this secondary offering does is put PDL on the radar for institutional investors. This weakness is simply not sustainable and I would have no problem buying at these levels. The bull case for palladium should last for at least the next 18 months and very possibly longer. Tesla’s woes show how difficult it will be for electric vehicles to take meaningful market share from petrol and hybrid cars over the next two years.
