RE:Aercap Lease TerminationIn laymans English without the slippery wording, they have lost the $2,925,000 CAN ($2,190,000 US) deposit unless they enter into a new lease agreement with AeroCap within the next 3 1/2 weeks....And the odds of that are?


It was more cost efficient to flush almost $3 million CAN than it was to park these birds for an extra 5 months? I am having a hard time with that one given the all in costs to store for 5 months would have been less than $100,000 (easy).

Either they need a new numbers person or they are giving us the Swiss cheese version of this story.
