Supreme - The last of the Mohicans Supreme may have not been the first to achieve many things in this industry, certainly not the first to get their license, not the first ones on the big boards, or the first to sell medical cannabis to patients. Here’s where The Lean Mean Supreme Green is/will be the first to the finish line.
First ones to show the B2B model works in the industry.
First LP to produce high end Cannabis flower at scale (gaining respect from costumers across Canada).
Will be the first LP grow space to go online in its entirety.
First of the large LP’s to start becoming profitable.
First of the LP’s to pay off their debt in its entirety.
How do you justify multi-BILLION dollar evaluations on companies that are only bringing in losses? What happens when their multi million square foot grow spaces are delayed in construction? What will happen when some of these guys will have to do another round of funding to complete their business plans? Last I saw, ACB was already eating away at its last funding by $80mm a quarter? If all this grow space doesn’t get used up on selling flower, and a large chunk of it ends up as OILS for edibles and vapes, what’s the point in operating at the high costs in Canada, wouldn’t it be a wiser and more profitable move to say grow the weed for purifying in a place like… OH I don’t know, Lesotho Africa? Lol
My last thoughts are on the larger markets south of us, and the way they are inching closer to being legal at a federal level. Americans are currently in a dispensary/micro grow phase, and are finally being educated to what quality actually means in the Cannabis space (the consumer that is) from cost to cost. What’s going to happen when shwag weed starts flooding their markets from Canada? You think people will actually buy it, and worse off, Canada that has been long known throughout the world for its good weed, we will what, now be known for its shwag?! There is a huge disservice being done through supporting some of these companies on a stock level, and completely disregarding what their business dealings are. Aphrias financials are growing in the negative and shrinking in the positive with a huge amount of “Goodwill” monies attached to them. The only thing good they have ever bought was their “Broken Coast” subsidiary, a company known for the Quality of Product, and they paid $215mm for essentially what was as big as 3 grow rooms at 7Acres…
