RE:My order went through $0.01 lower than my limit priceDoubleUp,
That’s why I usually avoid Canadian stocks these days. Too much manipulative trading. There were actually nine separate Canadian exchanges trading IVN today. Six of these traded within the last 38 seconds of the close or less. They all closed at $3.05 or $3.06. Only the TSX, the most visible, closed at $3.04. Some strange stuff. Omega had 1,021 trades on total volume of 126.3 K. That’s nearly entirely 100 share lots all day long. Someone’s trading program. You can follow this breakdown best at stockwatch.com. If I didn’t really believe in the Company, I wouldn’t touch Canadian exchanges with a ten foot pole. It’s strictly territory for the sharks. Fortunately IVN no longer requires the equity market for financing. On the other hand, it does provide an opportunity for reduced pricing. Look, you got filled at a cent below your limit price! Like you said, someone much prefers to sell for less than your standing offer. The lack of transparency for retail traders is brutal.
