RE:News Coverage of FDA Statements April 12Echo, this all sounds positive, but if TSO3 in fact has a solution why does the FDA seem to be so clueless? Why does the FDA not mention they have apporved a solution that could help the problem?  Or at the very least force the manufacturers to all work with TSO3 on their IFU's behind the scenes?

I find the statement below bothersome

"Finally, we are working with manufacturers on new duodenoscope designs that could reduce the risk of contamination as well as disposable duodenoscopes that would avoid the need for reprocessing altogether."

To me it seems like the FDA doesn't want to aknowledge TSO3 is in fact a solution to this problem, which is quite puzzling.
