I have shares in TGB, and also Excelsior, which also has a near production stage in-situ copper mine. As I recall, these are among the highest IRR projects copper projects out there. In-situ mining is widely used for uranium, but not for copper. But there is history for doing so here in the US. So they aren't inventing the wheel. Yes, Excelsior has a lot of potential too. Their main advantage is that they have already obtained all of the permits and commercial production should start by the end of this year. The main disadvantage is that it will take 5 or 6 years to reach full production, as Gunnison will be developed in stages.
The main disadvantage for them is the actual recovery as they didn't do ISR well testing.
