RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:h2sIn the Wallace et al paper, they measured plasma free H2S. They found a statistically significant increase in patients treated with ATB346. Some other research found that plasma free H2S was increased in Cardiovascular disease patients. However, this does not mean that elevated H2S causes CVD.
Essentially, why ATE was required to measure H2S and biological significance of their finding is unknown. It adds ambiguity and a little bit of risk to this, in my humble opinion.
