RE:RE:RE:commissioningEgss, the expectations for rapid advancement of the White Mountain commenced almost immediately following the discovery. Like you I was drawn to the project because of the discussions I had with Jamie and the many encouraging NR's that were issued over the years expressing the huge potential of this unique discovery. I might have been too caught up in the story, but I believed, and still do, that Jamie was sincere and he felt that they could execute on all of the goals they established.
However, I did a review of all the releases following the initial discovery in 2012 and found that many, many of the expectations expressed were no achieved or are still awaiting execution. Here is one small excerpt from the Nov. 13th NR:
"Hudson has entered into confidentiality agreements with a number of the key industry players in the E-glass and industrial mineral filler markets to investigate the application of this material to their product lines."
They did reach an agreement with Owens Corning in 2015 which gave one much needed confidence in the project. Subsequent releases referred to agressively persuing additional off-takes with the paint, coatings and filler markets. We are still waiting for new agreements years later.I always felt that our future was with this market and with the possibilities for alumina production and white cement, all big potential revenue items, but to date no partnerships which,IMHO, will be needed because of the funding and expertise required to achieeve production.
At one point I held over 100,000 shares but slowly lost confidence in the companies ability to execute. No holdings at present. My feeling still is that this anorthosite has so many unique qualities that it will eventually get developed. I will be watching closlely to see if a new entry point happens, but for now, I am an interested observer.
