RE:Superman to the rescue

RE:Superman to the rescueBottom line is we really do need to work together because we all have families that need to be sheltered & fed. It's a win-win-win for all if BC, AB, and QC would come together on projects that benefit us all (I really do commend Kenney for reaching out to Quebec last night, especially given how Quebec has treated AB thus far). Fact: Canada produces less than 1.6% of the world total green house gases. We could stop everything and we would not make a difference.

What WILL make a real difference is the amount of resources we put into our schools where our children go, the healthcare we continue to receive, social programs that continue to be funded. Like it or not, we are a resource based economy, and need to sell our resources in order to pay for these things. The sooner we all get that, the better off we will be as a whole.

The only real winners in our provincial/federal spats are other countries (especially the U.S) that want to continue getting our oil on the cheap while they sell to the world at market prices.

There will be many consequences to pandering to those who do not contribute/pay tax in order to get votes. We need to stop this now before it's too late, however yesterday was indeed the first step in the right direction...
