Old news, but check here:
Kirkland Lake 800 Acre site , signed agreements with Wahshogig First Nation who is a shareholder, The "Good Farm" is just outside Oshweken, another First Nation , 48 also had talks with them, unsure if they are shareholders, talk of employment opportunities.
The main rub is this: For those of you that have not been to any First Nation reserves, they are all very much connected nationally , and have their own herbalists , people travel frequently to these places to obtain natural foods, herbs etc in a natural approach that rival prescription drugs. As history dictates they are all about Mother Earth. CBD and wellness products will flow through these reserves, with inroads across the nation , 48 has already shook hands and made nice and indigenous peoples are very accepting of being included and treated fairly. This is an area of the market that is not yet tapped , and 48 has absolutely the right approach in making inroads to a market not only enjoyed by Native Peoples, but the population at large who prefer alternatives to prescription drugs , cosmetics, wellness foods and herbs for treating ailments.
Supply chain from the inside out , genius move. Can`t wait until this takes a proper foothold and launches.
