Hello neajelucne,
I don't think the silo will of any use to them. I also think it will probably be necessary to build a new building where the crop can be processed quickly – If the extraction plant is used directly on the site, they need a clean and probably additionally secured area (By the way, regardless of 48North I have seen somewhere an article about mobile extraction units).
During the growth phase, the appearance of this farm will certainly change greatly. In my opinion, all these measures can and will be implemented very quickly and at the same time within this period.
The time up to the beginning of the third phase (harvest time) is used to implement all these measures in addition to agricultural work - the earlier Health Canada gives the starting signal, the better – there's a lot of work to be done in these 3 to 4 months!
