Product Stability Studies & Licensing Agreements

Product Stability Studies & Licensing AgreementsOne of the key first steps when formulating new products with natural oils is to test well in advance the shelf life of your products, (best before date), prior to full scale production. One needs to learn there will be no bacterial growth and the product will not breakdown, separate, due to cold, heat and time.
Now another aspect I like about 48North is the agreements like the one with Avitas. See the extract from a press release below.
"Under the terms of the licensing agreement signed March 6, 2019, 48North will license Avitas' intellectual property and manufacturing techniques for domestic consumption in Canada, and for global export from Canada."
48North has circumvented the time-consuming process of product stability by licensing formulas and manufacturing techniques instead of starting from zero.
Management is thinking of everything. There must be people with a pharmaceutical background at 48North.
