RE:RE:RE:Status Quo is not an option.I agree that you keep the number of shares you currently own before the financing but what do you mean; your average cost will remain the same? What average are you referring to?

Your shares do not expire.  If you do nothing (i.e. do not participate in the rights offer), your share counts remain the same, the average cost remain the same as before the re-financing.  At some points, the company will do a reverse split, which will drastically reduce your share count.  For example, if they do a 1000:1 R/S, your 100,000 shares will become 100 shares.
