RE:Not many voices of reasonRock, you may be right that extractors have been a little too hot lately. You might also be right they are due for a correction either due to the broad market and/or dilution.
That being said, I think they will display meaningful revenue numbers and likely EBITDA positive. I spoke to them personally in early Feb. and they were already cash flowing at that point. It does not seem likely that they've gone backwards from there.
I personally think the catalysts are more meaningful than the downside risk, which I believe upsides include:
1) Getting bought (I consider this lowest in terms of actualizing)
2) Further international plans
3) More contract announcements
4) A beverage partnership with a large consumer brand
5) Further legalization of edibles information from Health Canada.
Downsides:
1) Short term revenue that is lower than expected and/or negative EBITDA
2) Possible margins below 50%
3) People pulling extraction entirely in house
This is where the rubber meets the road to determine what the 'sentiment' is around if management follows through or if they aren't giving guidance because they can't meet it. We'll see!
