RE:RE:Business background solid stock drops an additional 11%As an investor in and avid reader about Galaxy, it is my opinion based on what I read that Mt Gallatin has NEVER produced 6% LI spudomene. It seems that their deposit is just not rich enough to hit that mark. Up the road apiece, PILBF has not had the same problem and is blissfully producing 6% LI for each shipment; but PILBF is steadily heading lower in share price becuase shorts are aggressively stealing shares. PILBF went from 400,000 shares short to 10 million short in about a weeks time and has since reversed short to 2mil shares with the droop in share prices continuing.
No deal on Sal De Vita in Argentina is probably more heavily related to what Rob McEwen complains about which is the Macri gov't lifting and then reinserting the export tax of mined mineral shipments. Getting investment funds in Argentina(A) is far harder than Quebec becuase the gov't is trying hard to overcome their countries' history of borrowing money to pay ever increasing numbers of bureaucrats in the federal gov't. A literally borrowed billions to put their friends and relatives on the federal payroll. Insanity that finally caught up with them under the Christina Fernandez gov't.
Galaxy is moving relatively quickly on our James Bay neighbor deposit and they have $280 Mill US to fund it. A Rose/James Bay merger would help both companies. In the meantime, LI prices should move higher given demand increase in the face of not much supply increase. All the gigafactories under construction need battery raw materials to be able to produce batteries, and that means LI,NI,CO and graphite. Meanwhile I sit here feeling like a dummy for being in the position I am in.
