RE:RE:RE:Where Is LDS Headed...?If retail outlets are getting products from other manufacturers…then how can these producers provide product and we can't? They all have to find biomass don't they? They all have to process it don't they? They all have to certify purity don't they? They all have to package it don't they? They all have to transport it somehow don't they? Are the other producers making profits while we gloat about contracts and potential contracts? While we talk of vertical integration? And product recognition. Do the other producers already have vertical integration and product recognition? Are they making profits while our machines are collecting dust? Might be worthwhile to investigate how others are doing it.
And in the California market why do we need to slow build product recognition? Isn't the market huge with retailers clammoring for product? Just produce it and sell it. When the market is overrun with producers and competition is heavy then worry about product recognition. For now we need sales and profits. Is noone producing and selling product in California?
Our management team seems most proficient with visions of potential….just not with production/sales/revenues/and PROFITS!! Who would want to buy a company with no profits. When and if LDS ever does show great potential along with profits…then someone may want to look at us. You don't buy pipe dreams….you buy proven winners…that have potential to be bigger proven winners. So I discount any talk of buyouts here.
A year ago there were projections....just like yours...of profits (and cash) come fall....and definately before Christmas. They all were counting their money and riches. How did it turn into zilch? No I did not read the reasons for no production. I heard their reasons for no profits in the past. I'm sure the new ones were just as creative. Finalization of Calif regs? Did that stop others from producing and selling product?
So sure... the company gives reasons for lack of production and profits. Anyone can do that. At my company that wouldn't go far. I have to make profits happen. My company is private. I can't just do a pp every time I need cash. LDS gave reasons for little to no production in early 2018 also....and in the spring...and summer. The machines were coming to process biomass. New packaging ordered....always new packaging. Every time I talked to Phil there were reasons for no production or profits. I even asked him if they actually had biomass and he said sure thing. They had spent hundreds of thousands on purchasing biomass with monies they obtained in late 2017 and early 2018. I asked how much they had in inventory....he couldn't or wouldn't answer that question. If trhey had any I suppose it has gone bad by now.
What investors want to see is an end to these blue sky projections. We want production and profits. We understand that they know how to spend money....I want to see if they can actually make money. Until then the sp will stay where it is or where it has been the last several months. Hope you are correct with your projections....it's just that I have seen projections before. Lots of them. There is only one way you will be proven correct.....quarterly reports showing profits. Until then you are guessing...and my skepticism has a proven track record.
