But its also an occassion where at least a minimum amount of hard information has to be put on the table- regardless of whether it is up for discusion at the controlled snoozefest. Management seems to have been avoiding releasing hard information- I am assuming wanting to push that back until they have some non-puffery good news to announce.

Scheduling the AGM really late would follow if you still dont know how long it is going to be before you have some substantive good news to roll in with all the audited red ink that you will have to divulge before the AGM.
