RE:Management's Failure to PerformSo you are saying there has never been a case where the market misprices a company relative to its assets and plans for the future? If so then perhaps you and Warren should sit down for a chat. There are entire books dedicated to the concept of value investing.
The problem everyone has with people like you is that there is no evidence to support your claims. The ones you call pumpers see the promise in a compnay and are prepared to discuss what's in front of them along with possible risks. You have yet to even list a concern you have about management's plan to execute.
Believe me or not, and Dio will confirm the PM I sent him earlier, I called the number listed on Biome's site this afternoon. Khurram himself answered the phone! We spoke for a good while and he was exceptionally accomodating and explained things carefully to me. I can lay down some stuff here now which will be corroborated in a matter of weeks.
The float is 100 million shares and today's volume was about 58 000, utterly nothing. This stock is hibernating and about to wake up. Any big trading house can push this around as they see fit but none of the key players are concerned one bit.
Per the CEO himself more than 60% is actively held by top investors who understand that 385K sq ft of facilites don't pop up overnight. This is a new company with a vision to be on the same level as Organigram and other big Canadian players. They are late to the party because they were helping everyone else get off the ground.
Here is the timeline of upcoming events;
1) The first financials coming in the next week will show the end of December and essentially no revenue.
2) Within weeks after that there will be another update detailing the sales numbers from the major purchase orders placed by NSLC to Highland Grow. Along with that will show some of the NL shipments that started in early March.
3) There is more money coming by way of a non dilutive debt financing.
4) CBD is a big focus and news will be dropping about international deals. Team has been actively engaging various governments worldwide
5) NL facility is slightly delayed with focus on Highland Grow expansion and associated licensing.
So over the next few months there will a much clearer picture of where the focus is and how this company is developing. It went public in October just as the rest of the market peaked. That's just the way it goes but all the better for the smart ones to buy cheap.
I am actively looking for downsides that can occur over the next little while but after speaking with Khurram this afternoon I am more confident than ever.
