RE:Halifax Court Update & Correspondence I am looking forward to see the Court documents. Nonetheless, these court cases are not what UCU needs. My understanding is that UCU-IBC legal disputes are just at the jurisdiction level. This means that the arguments on the merit of the case are not even considered by the judge. Last time I checked, legal fees are never fun to pay and not cheap.
Unless there is a quick settlement or resolution, I do not see how this can be good for UCU. I wish the same level of energy would be invested in advancing the business plan. While UCU spends time in various courts, another REE player announced that it would be in a position to separate various REE elements and sell REE oxide in Quebec by the end of the year and generate around 10 M$ per year to start. Not much money but still better than nothing.
I know, what other choices UCU has but to pursue this battle? Probably none, but I don't like it. This Board has now become a place where everyone has a feeling and tries to read tea leaves as to the intention of the parties in various courts without the actual court documents. Very instructive...
