I think if there was actually a risk involved people wouldn't be doing it, just like avoiding paying taxes, for normal people, not for sociopaths. There is very little incentive to troll a forumn and bash a company unless you have a financial incentive in it. All of these people are almost certainly either illicit traders or dumbass millenials trying to get rich quickly after reading a book about options trading. Either way, by definition you should not believe the hype or the negativity because both have strong financial incentives to distort your opinion.
