Re: Moosehead Sproutley J.V.

Re: Moosehead Sproutley J.V.Being from New Brunswick I had initially thought that on geographics alone that OGI and Moosehead would be a good fit. But as time went on and we get to see how OGI is building and branching out, it is clear that Greg has his sights on teaming up with a beverage company that has international and brand recognition. Not to say that Moosehead doesn't have brand recognition because they certainly have that..but pretty much solely in Canada with very limited exposure in the U.S...I have seen it in stores on the eastern seaboard like Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts but not much beyond that..and even then it doesn't get a lot of shelf space in the stores. So it is looking like the this deal that Moosehead made is just to keep themselves in the loop and to try and be as competitive as they can be and to try and hold what market share they do have. The news today certainly didn't shake the markets because Sproutly ended up being down 7 cents on the day. It's just as well we didn't do a deal with them and I am sure Greg knew from the get go it wasn't the deal that he wanted..he has his eyes on bigger fish!
