Simon Best previous company

Simon Best previous companySimon was CEO of Roslin BioMed which was bought out by Geron Biomed (the parent company is Geron).

Simon later was CEO of Ardana which fell apart in a very very very similar fashion to PLI
https://www.heraldscotland.com/news/12759100.ardana-unravels/

Geron's stock dropped by half last year bcause Johnson & Johnson ended it's colaboration with them.(maybe a TV lobby?)
https://www.fool.com/investing/2019/01/15/why-geron-stock-dropped-44-in-2018.aspx

Roslin, Ardana, Geron Biomed, all had massive pipeline potential. And they all fell apart because of sudden financing problems.

Why? Simon Best seems to have a way of getting paid before he exits a company that later falls apart. Maybe it's just good timing..
