ASX investigation
ASX investigationReading over the letters again from ASX to Titan, and then Titan's response I got the feeling that this is just the opening salvo. From following the Mueller inquiry in the US, investagators seem to like getting the ones being investigated to say things on the public record. And then if those things can be proven to be incorrect it is big trouble, and if it is perjury than jail time. I think it also true that the ASX wouldn't make trivial claims about Titan's suitability for holding an ASX listing. Very especially since this was made public and normally would have a huge impact on a companies share price ( it will be interesting to see what happens to the Titan share price when the ASX opens shortly, it is 9:50 in Perth at present) . If this becomes a wider investigation, which also seems how these things develop, than there is a huge amount of stuff from Titan's past that would need to be looked at. I can think of a number of things , from my fairly limited looking at Titan's past, that seem to break alot of rules.
Speaking of jail time, many of us Core Shareholders have felt from the start of this merger attempt that the Core BOD4 has come very close to the threshold of criminality. It is interesting that it seems we now have the ASX working on behalf of a Canadian Co. (Core), against an Australian Co. (Titan) which is trying to harm the Canadian Co. Where is the TSX and the others? I think and hope we might find that the TSX and the others are reluctant to get involved, but once they do and once they get a whiff of potential wrong doings they can be very thorough, persistent, and have a ton of resourses to go after the wrong doers. And if the initial ASX letters don't give the TSX and the others, a very strong whiff of what we all have been smelling from the start, then I would very much doubt their seriousness, and abilities.
