Upcoming Battery Material Supplier.

Upcoming Battery Material Supplier.
Could BASF from Germany be one big potential future company to finance a partnership  / off take for CRE?

It's all about converting hard rock chemically, into battery materials.
BASF might be only now joining this trend.
BASF of Ludwigshafen Germany is world largest Chemical Company with revenue of 62+ billion in 2018 and about to help Americans get into the game.

BASF said it is part of its €400 million multi-step investment plan announced last year and builds upon initial battery materials production started in Harjavalta in 2018. Start-up is planned for late 2020, enabling the supply of approximately 300,000 full electric vehicles per year with BASF battery materials.

Now BASF announced a closed agreement to form BASF Today America LLC (BTA)
Start up planned in Elyria Ohio and Battle Creek Michigan to supply automotive platforms with battery materials. Just a stone throw away from Canadian border.

Me thinking,  CRE  supplying feed stock to Helm AG's competition, BASF would be the ultimate.
