RE:RE:Eve, the BrandI feel the long rant by x2j was in repsonse to me asking some legitimate questions about EVE's future so ill respond in kind...
I'm not getting into a drawn out chat-room argument with anyone, I simply was speaking up for some investors and perhaps planting a new seed for others....
First, I was initially attracted to EVE's strong female presence in their business and how I beleive they were marketing that well to add value....I still like this point as well...
However, since I invested in November, I've heard little about what their grand plans will be and it concerns me somewhat. Melinda is a good CEO, but she answers quesitons too much like a politician sometimes, steering around actually providing answers....
I understand fullwell what it takes to create a brand and they're working toward that, but I would like to know their product development strategy, pre planting/post-cultivation plans (again actually building the greenhouse is going to be much easier than planting/maintining/harvesting/ at capacity...as i mentioned earlier, not 1 licensed producer has been able to max-out yet...
I just simply would love a corporate update anytime soon as to where this company is headed for the next 3 years. IF it's a main focus toward developing female THC/CBD products then I'm out for these reasons:
- putting cannabis into these products is going to cost millions. There will be R&D costs, governemnt regulations to satisfy, marketing/packagin/distribting these products...it will sink this company IMO
- The big players like L'Oreal aren't in the business of investing in companies like this, they're int he business of putting them out of business. I'm sure many investors know, but many don't, how competitive and cut-throat this market is! How would we ever compete with their marketing budgets? Cannabis realted or not, do we realize how many companies are stopped in their tracks while trying to enter these markets?
- There won't be products ont he shelves for 2 years minimum.....
In any corporate update, I would love to see continued retail expansion agreements locally and abroad, a deal struck with an extractor so we can sell high margin oils to other LP's, investment in or creation of some sort of packaging/distribution facility (there's going to be a lot of grass to process eventually), and attracting medical patients (espeically females with gender specific ailments we could assits).
We can do all of this under the guise of 'premier female-focused brand' in the business.
But I'm begging EVE, please get away from the female-products frenzy, it will kill this company, trust me....
Again I'm long EVE and have been pleased with my investment so far, I feel my point about 'Direction' is legitmitae and really the only outstanding issue i have at this point. I'm prepared for construction delays etc in the short term and am fine with it.....
Good luck
