RE:The 2 questions raised at the AGM

RE:The 2 questions raised at the AGM Grey,

With all due respect to your friend, these are the kind of benign softball questions they swat out of the park without breaking a sweat.  I'm not sure what kind of response he was expecting besides the mush provided by Boynton and the Atkinsonian smokescreen is a familiar one they trot out to defend their inept differentiation strategy.

The long list of incompetent moves detailed in my posts including the disaster displaying itself at VertigoScope, the outrageous compensation levels, the lack of share ownership by executives and non-Voting Trust board members, the botched deal with PostMedia, the aged and out-of-touch directors, the paywall flipflop, the lack of a coherent strategy and I could go on.

Holding their tiny wizened feet to fire on these issues might have caused a bit more squirming in my opinion and might have attracted some media attention. Holding them accountable isn't going to change anything in all likelihood, but putting them on notice might have caused a couple of feeble-minded Voting Trust members to ponder their fate for a moment.
