Canadian Operations segment includes the exploration for, development of, and production of oil, NGLs, natural gas and other activities within Canada. Market Optimization segment is primarily responsible for the sale of the Company’s production to third-party customers and enhancing the associated netback price. The segment’s activities also include third-party purchases and sales of product to provide operational flexibility.

Just bought some Call options

With things heating up in the Persian Gulf I believe the assets in the Permian basis will become more valuable. Also, it may be better for an integrated company to acted sooner than later in order to increase their North American production. EnCana is well positioned to move higher with or without a takeover bid! GLTA Longs
