RE:RE:WestJet sale could mean the end of SWOOPI'm still unsure what this fascination is with Enerjet and their "vast resources". Jim Scott (the original CEO of Jetlines) grabbed an existing charter airline and formed it into Flair in a year. Enerjet is a charter airline that has been saying they had vast financial resources and were going to relaunch as a ULCC since 2016. Like, wtf??? every time Jetlines has a delay, "oh - look at Enerjet".

I looked, turning a charter into a LCC isn't hard and Enerjet still hasn't accomplished this in 3 years with their "vast resources" even though relatively inexperienced talent from Jetlines did it in 1. (Building a ULCC is a lot more work and making the comparison is night and day.)

Enerjet is not much of a threat.
