If they get lucky that is and cannabis shops spring up everywhere in Canada like mushrooms between now and Oct. Edibles and vapes which ACB will go after are not only more profitable but they can also be easily shipped to customers via an internet order. I can't see UPS doing a thriving business delivering 6 packs of cannabis spiked canned beer so where will the consumer get it supposing they want it with so few brick and mortar pot shops around? With Constellation Canopy has the means to produce all sorts of different types of cannabis beers but if the experience of 15 US states where rec MJ has been legal for awhile can be used as a real world example then there is very little consumer demand for drinkable pot. Add to that the smaller Canadian population and the lack of retail outlets that will act as a distribution bottleneck and I can see Canopy shareholers in for some challenging times this fall.

The US is not a good example until it is legal at the federal level. A MJ company has to deal with different state laws. This is why the Acreage deal with WEED can't be implemented completely until it is legal on the fed level. You can buy beer and wine online. I sometime ordered from the SAQ. When the edibles will be legalised, the stores will open too. At some point, they will have to open the market, and there will be stores everywhere.

As an Aurora investor, I like the fact that the US is not yet legalised on the fed level. The US is an indispensable market. They will push for the legalisation at the next US election to gain votes. By that time Aurora will be cash flow positive since it is supposed to be this year. So, they will have access to cash instead of diluting the company, which for me is not a problem in this sector anyway.

All the smart deals made by Cam will be more and more profitable bringing more cash.
I like the fact that he doesn't plan to sell the company to a big beverage maker but instead have a deal with many of them, whatever it is beverage, edible to eat, cosmetic, medical etckeeping the control and the destiny of Aurora.
