Autoflowering vs. feminized , crop protections North has the right idea. Autoflowering produces full maturity in 3 months. Feminized plants take up to 5 months. Ideally, plant in May , harvest in July, Plant in July, harvest in September. This year given awaiting license , Plant in early June, harvest in August, Plant in August, harvest in October. Just East of this area in Niagara region ; vinyards abound at least 40 - grow their own grapes and produce wine onsite . Sometimes early frost poses a threat to crops . To remedy this, there are wind machines, as well as helicopters providing downdraft to prevent frost damage , forcing down warmer air from above. Questions are : Will North employ wind machines , and is there a similar planting cycle where corn for example is grown one year , then clover the next to re enrich the soil?
