RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Right offeringSorry should read:
If the total subscription is 500M shares or 10 shares/right, you would receive 1/2 if you subscribe to 20 shares. However, if you have enough cash to buy only 10 shares per right, your subscription is 100%.So, the % of what you ask for will vary depending on how many shares you subscribe to and the total ….correct?

If the proration factor is 50%, then everybody get 50% of what they subscribe to. If the total subscription is 500 M or 50% of the 5B available, you would receive 1/2 if you subscribe to 20 shares. However, if you have enough cash to buy only 10 shares per right, your subscription is 100%.So, the % of what you ask for will vary depending on how many shares you subscribe to and the total ….correct?

In this example above ...if the proration factor is set at 10 and I wanted 11 out of my 20 rights per share I would get 10 .... if I wanted 20 out of my 20 I would get 10 ...if I wanted 7 out of my 20 I would get 7. Its just your shares times the proration factor from 1 to 20. So 10000 shares held x a proration factor of 10 is 100000. Where did the 5 shares answer come from ?
GoBBs,
The prorating-factor is
the same for all who take part in the rights offer, regardless of the multiple they subscribe to.
The pro-rating-factor is
NOT 1-20 as you said, but it's
a percentage of what one subscribes to, which will be between
33% (when alll 736M shares ask for x20) to
100% (when the total subscription is
less than 4.9B=everybody who takes part will get
ALL they ask for).
The previous person ask if he subscribe x10, and the proration factor is
HALF (50%), how many rights share will he get?
If the proration factor is 50%, then everybody get 50% of what they subscribe to. 10 x 50%=5 right shares in his case. Hope that this is clear.
