RE:RE:Has anybody in Canada
RE:RE:Has anybody in CanadaI am well aware of the rules and regs around advertising but dissemination of material developments in the form of infomercials should be above board and legal. We are 6 months out of unleashing the edibles/drinkables and I can already see that date being backed off. The rules are confusing but I am sure that a company like Canopy has already got some recipes that are being formulated in a kitchen somewhere and while I see the reasoning for some of the rules and regulations, they will have to flex, just like they did with alcohol in order to have a level playing field.
All of the Big Alcohol guys aren't giving up on having thc infused beer, wine and hard liquor imo. Sometimes massaging your way to what you want to fulfill your intentions happens and it will in this case too. It will just take time.
Maybe I missed my point about Dixie being a publicly traded company now! Maybe they don't think the CSE listing is a big deal. Maybe they are trying to fly under the Feds radar. I think they should be using that listing to raise as much money as they can to expand and be a world player and informing the investor world is the way to do that. We have a ton of new listings trying to be potpreneurs and the market makers don't always fill the allotment. First to the post keeps it simple for investors and shouldn't be squandered. The plans are ambitious and it will take a lot of money and if you tapped out the private pool, you go public. In my mind I see beverages as being the winners for consumption, as a natural segway to alcohol socials, no smelly smoke and while I like a good chocolate, I would be more inclined to load up with a nice tasting beverage. jmho, glta and dyodd
