UEX 2019 West Bear Drill Program
UEX 2019 West Bear Drill ProgramWhen this drill program was planned out, all these holes must have been mapped out with some strategy in mind. From WBC-10 through WBC-75 through to this latest WBC-150+ set.
I am now questionning the strategy especially with this latest set. Drill holes cost money and funds could have been better spent expanding LBS in other areas of the WB property which is big. Here is why and prove me wrong.
This is a World class Cobalt/Nickel deposit. No question and no argument there. All good. Some company some day will mine this deposit and the Cobalt LBS will end up in some Ford or BMW battery and the Nickel LBS will end up in some metal alloy in a jet engine or whatever.
But please with these last 2 sets of drill holes..... This is going to be an open pit mine, I believe. Check. About 50 to 100 M deep. Thus must dig a big hole and process the ore. Just look at the blue hand in the diagram - from the wrist to the index finger about 150 M long.
Why would one drill a hole - WBC-143 at this location ? Same with WBC-150. Who cares what the Cobalt/Nickel values are going to be at WBC-143/150 - it is going to be dug up anyway and the ore is going to be processed. Whether 0.25 % or 1.00 % Co or more.
I just think I would have taken a couple of these million dollars and focused drilling on other areas of the WB property to find more twins of this Co deposit.
Shareholder value means more LBS on the WHOLE WB PROPERTY not just this single deposit. So enough drilling here - it is a great deposit but move on to other areas please.
And what about WBE-103 as Destinator asked - what's going on there - WBC-143 drills less than 5M from the next hole on the blue hand. Look specifically at WBE-103 and no drill holes right (right) next to it. Why? Is high grade WBE-103 a real value ? Or are the coming sonic hole results going to prove more LBS. I sure hope so.
Cobalt metal prices are flat until 2021. Uranium prices are going to move up before then. UEX is a Uranium company with a Cobalt division. No more funds for COEX drilling at this point. Spin it out or focus on Uranium now.
